The more we love our friends, the less we flatter them; it is by excusing nothing that pure love shows itself.
— Moliere (Le Misanthrope)
Boys and girls in America have such a sad time together; sophistication demands that they submit to sex immediately without proper preliminary talk. Not courting talk - real straight talk about souls, for life is holy and every moment is precious.

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire,
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice. — Robert Frost (via wordpainting)

How nice - to feel nothing, and still get full credit for being alive.

HOW I INTERACT WITH MY PARENTS
WHEN SOMEONE SAYS THEYRE GOING TO STUDY A LOT FOR AN EXAM
I’M LIKE:
WHEN SOMEONE ASKS ME HOW IM DOING DURING FINALS WEEK
ME DURING THE LAST PART OF THE SEMESTER
WAITING FOR CLASS TO END
I’M LIKE:
WHEN IT DOES:
WHEN IM ASSIGNED A GROUP PROJECT
Breaking Facade
It’s just a temporary moment of weakness. This will pass just like it always does. Everyone needs a few days to just break down from the constant lies they tell or show in daily life. After all, pretending everything is alright takes a toll on a person. One can only take so much at a time. Pretty soon my facade will be renewed. But for now this lack of motivation and care for anything will have to suffice. Let’s just hope I can pull myself together and am able to finish my project and study for my finals, in order to graduate.
